The electric featherweight wheelchair is intended for people who suffer from circulatory, respiratory, neurological or other health conditions that affect their mobility. Electric wheelchairs are NOT recommended for those suffering from spinal cord injuries. If you are unsure whether an electric wheelchair is right for you, consult your doctor.

Each of the lithium-ion batteries that come with your feather chair weighs 2 lbs. As such they are light enough for virtually anyone to change. Considering that this is one of the lightest wheelchairs, you'll have no issues with the extra 2 lbs. 

Of course! Every featherweight wheelchair comes with everything you need to get going and keep going, including a charger for your batteries. It also comes with quick release wheels, high weight capacity and a compact package. 

Charging the battery on your Featherweight Power Chair is a simple and safe procedure. Just make sure the chair is turned OFF when charging. If the power is left on while charging it may cause damage to various electrical components and void the warranty. Again, turn the chair OFF when charging. Yes. There are no restrictions against bringing your Featherweight 33 lbs. Power Chair on a commercial airline or private plane. Different airlines, however, may have slightly different procedures for accommodating you. As such, it is always best to contact your airline beforehand and alert them to your situation. You can also purchase a convenient carry bag for your chair if you think it will make your trip easier. It's also one of the lightest wheelchairs in the world, which will enhance your travel experience. 

Yes. But it is likely you will need to obtain a converter in order to change the voltage or an adapter to ensure you will be able to plug into the local wall socket.

The standard Featherweight 33 lbs. Power Chair has a maximum carrying capacity of 242.5 lbs. (109.9 kilograms). 

When it is completely unfolded the featherweight wheelchair is 37 inches in height, 24 inches wide and 39 inches from front to back. When folded up for transport the Smart Chair is 15.74 inches high, 2.40 inches wide and 28.34 inches from front to back.

The seat on the feather Chair is 17.72 inches wide, 16.5 inches from front to back and 1.25 inches thick. The seat to floor height is also perfect for day to day use or travel. 

The seat to floor height on the Featherweight 13.5 lbs. Power Chair sits 18.9 inches off the floor or ground, which means it will comfortably accommodate any average-sized person.

Each arm rest sits a comfortable 29.25 inches off the ground, which is the optimal height for most people with a quick release armrest.

The footrest swingaway can also be lifted up or taken out to accommodate the situation or to make things more comfortable for you.
