With its large foot platform, the Passport wheelchair is intended for people who suffer from circulatory, respiratory, neurological or other health conditions that affect their mobility. A compact and lightweight design is NOT recommended for those suffering from spinal cord injuries. If you are unsure whether an electric wheelchair is right for you, consult your doctor.

Charging the battery on your folding wheelchair is a simple and safe procedure. Just make sure the chair is turned OFF when charging. If the power is left on while charging it may cause damage to various electrical components and void the warranty. Again, turn the chair OFF when charging. Yes. There are no restrictions against bringing your wheelchair on a commercial airline or private plane. Different airlines, however, may have slightly different procedures for accommodating you. As such, it is always best to contact your airline beforehand and alert them to your situation.
Yes. But it is likely you will need to obtain a converter in order to change the voltage or an adapter to ensure you will be able to plug into the local wall socket.

When it is completely unfolded the passport electric chair is 19 inches in height, 20 inches wide and 16 inches from front to back. When folded up for transport the power chair is 13 inches high, 23.1 inches wide and 29.5 inches from front to back.

If you are not completely satisfied with your chair you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return it to us. Just make sure the chair is clean and in its original packaging and that you obtain a return authorization number prior to sending the chair. There will also be a 10% restocking fee on any returned chair.
Each Passport power wheelchair carries a 5-year warranty on the frame and a 1 year warranty on electrical components, including the battery.

The best thing you can do to ensure your passport power chair is always in tip-top shape is to keep it clean. Don’t allow dirt and debris to accumulate on the wheels and undercarriage and wipe down all components of the chair on a regular basis. Beyond that, an annual maintenance check is also recommended to ensure everything is in good working order. Please see the “maintenance” section of our website to learn more.
In many cases, yes. The best thing to do is to contact your insurance provider prior to purchasing an electric wheelchair and ask them. Some FDA class II medical are included with your insurance.
