You get the chair of course, as well as 2 state-of-the-art lithium-ion batteries, a battery charger, joystick for effortless control, easy to follow instructions and a detailed owner’s manual. And the best part? There’s no assembly required! All you do is charge the chair for 2-4 hours, plug in the joy stick and you are ready to go.
With its large foot platform, the Vive mobility power wheelchair is intended for people who suffer from circulatory, respiratory, neurological or other health conditions that affect their mobility. Electric wheelchairs are NOT recommended for those suffering from spinal cord injuries. If you are unsure whether an electric wheelchair is right for you, consult your doctor.
Whereas a typical electric power wheelchair can weigh anywhere from 100-150 lbs. The Vive mobility power wheelchair has been engineered with efficiency in mind. As such it tips the scales at a very trim 67.8 lbs. while retaining the carrying capacity of much heavier chairs. Charging the battery on your folding power wheelchair is a simple and safe procedure. Just make sure the chair is turned OFF when charging. If the power is left on while charging it may cause damage to various electrical components and void the warranty. Again, turn the chair OFF when charging. Yes. There are no restrictions against bringing your power wheelchair on a commercial airline or private plane. Different airlines, however, may have slightly different procedures for accommodating you. As such, it is always best to contact your airline beforehand and alert them to your situation. Cruise ship travel is also easy with this wheelchair.
Yes. But it is likely you will need to obtain a converter in order to change the voltage or an adapter to ensure you will be able to plug into the local wall socket.
The standard folding power wheelchair has a maximum carrying capacity of 260 lbs. (118 kilograms).

If you are not completely satisfied with your chair you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return it to us. Just make sure the chair is clean and in its original packaging and that you obtain a return authorization number prior to sending the chair. There will also be a 10% restocking fee on any returned chair.
Each Vive wheelchair carries a 5-year warranty on the frame and a 1 year warranty on electrical components, including the battery.

The best thing you can do to ensure your Vive Health power chair is always in tip-top shape is to keep it clean. Don’t allow dirt and debris to accumulate on the wheels and undercarriage and wipe down all components of the chair on a regular basis. Beyond that, an annual maintenance check is also recommended to ensure everything is in good working order. Please see the “maintenance” section of our website to learn more.
