Wheelchair users already face additional challenges while arranging a trip. Is it simple to navigate the city you’ll be visiting? To make your trip more accessible and more enjoyable if you use a wheelchair or scooter, is there a place to hire one while you’re in town?

Wheelchair rentals can make or break a holiday, so we’ve compiled a list of the most popular ones in the United States to assist you.

Renting a wheelchair, scooter, or other mobility equipment is another good choice for testing a new model, getting used to the item, and discovering your daily needs. Anyone who relies on mobility aids but would like to leave theirs at home may also find renting easier.

Renting is sometimes a long-term commitment, so you must be sure you’re getting what you need.

I would not have been able to go on a trip to New York without the scooter. Thank you for having it at the hotel when I got there and picking it up after I left. I used it at museums, restaurants, really, all around NY!

I rented a scooter for my mom on a 5 day cruise leaving from Port Canaveral. It stopped working mid-cruise. And the end of the cruise we had to request a wheelchair to get her off the ship. I have called and emailed and no one has ever responded. The $151 that I paid was never refunded, not even partially. I would never recommend this vendor. It does not stand behind its products. And there is no customer service.

I worked with Homepro on a quick request for a VIP client who needed a hospital bed in a hotel room. Daniel made it so seamless. We were able to get it delivered within days with everything they needed. With every hurdle they overcame it. I would recommend them to anyone!

Was told they'd deliver between 1-4 pm today; I called when it didn't come and they said 5:30. Its 5:30 now and there was no phone call when late the first time....nor the second time. Not feeling too good or trusting about this place.

Las Vegas Scooter

Las Vegas Scooter was started in 2007 by a local family who saw the need to help tourists get around the city, whether on vacation, for work, or at a convention.

They have electric mobility scooters, ultra-lightweight scooters, and wheelchairs to help you get around Las Vegas quickly.

Las Vegas scooters can be a good option if you’re looking for a quality mobility scooter made in the USA. They’ll even ship stuff to your house or hotel room. All of their mobility scooters are manufactured by Pride.

They own all of their equipment, unlike some other businesses in the sector, and don’t rely on a third party to provide their scooters, which explains why their charges are so competitive.

So the first chair we had the power switch was broke and it kept stalling. Took over two hours to get a replacement. The second one they brought as a replacement about 1/4 of the rubber was missing on the wheels. These chairs are not that expensive please maintain your equipment better!!!

The scooters were good and that's about it, they are way overpriced and too many extra charges, like theft protection and cancel. But what they don't tell you is that the key for the scooters is universal, that means anybody can take our scooters whenever we're at disney. And we would have to pay for the entire scooter. Next time we'll get it from Disney themselves, at least we know they are not going to charge us ridiculous fees.

Called and made an appointment Wednesday and they were able to be here on Monday. Our appointment was at 2pm and they ended up coming early. Pedro worked for an hour to try and figure out the power issue to no avail. Finally decided it was probably the joy stick power plug. He is going to look for a new one to replace the old one. He was very professional and very helpful. Thank you 🙂

The two ladies (forgot their names) were so friendly and helpful. Had my mom with me so she could pick out a new scooter to replace her broken one. They were knowledgeable and kind. Extremely patient while my mom tried out all the scooters. They helped us get a shower chair and rubber cane tip replacements as well. 10/10. Will definitely return in the future. Prices were reasonable too.
